Aus vs Pak Semi Final T20 World Cup – Win or lose We still Love You
Marcus Stoinis and Matthew Wade were unbeaten in a six hitting feast that saw Australia win five wickets over Pakistan to reach the Twenty20 aus vs pak World Cup final.
Australia had 177 to win but were struggling at 96-5. Then Stoinis (40), and Wade (41), put on 81 runs in Dubai to end the match with just one run.
Wade, a left-handed player who had been dropped by Hasan Ali 21 years ago, smashed three straight sixes against Shaheen Shah Shah Afridi on the 19th to set up a title clash in Dubai with New Zealand on Sunday.
David Warner took 49 runs before being caught by Shadab Khan, a leg-spinner who took four wickets. Australia was dealt a blow early on when Shaheen caught skipper Aaron Finch and ran him out for nothing. Mitchell Marsh supported Warner, who kept the attack going.

Shadab increased the heat in the seventh over, to score Marsh for 28. Australia lost half of their team for 96 when the leg-spinner scored in each of his four runs to take the big wickets of Steve Smith (5, Warner (7, and 7), respectively.
Warner was caught behind by three fours and three sixes during his 30-ball stay. However, replays showed that there was no contact with the batsman.
Wade and Stoinis steered the team towards their second T20 World Cup Final and their dream of winning a maiden title. Mohammad Rizwan was the top scorer with 67 runs and Fakhar Zman hit an unbeaten 55 from 32 deliveries to lead Pakistan to 176-4.
Rizwan’s first stand of 71, with skipper Babar Azm, who made 39 runs, upset the Australian bowling during the first six powerplay overs. After sending back Babar with 303 runs, Adam Zampa, the leg-spinner, broke the first stand. Zampa was caught at long-on after his 34-ball run laced by five fours.
Rizwan continued his attack and ran riot against Zampa, becoming the first player to score 1,000 runs in T20 Internationals within a calendar year. As the physio arrived to perform a concussion testing with the batsman, he survived a hit on his helmet grill from Pat Cummins.

Six pace bowler Josh Hazlewood and one off pace bowler Fakhar brought up their fifty in 41 balls. Fakhar then exploded too. Mitchell Starc finally caught Rizwan at mid-off after he tried to force the pace. This ended an aggressive partnership of 46 balls. Fakhar completed the innings with two sixes from Starc, who took two wickets.
