ExpressVPN Will Pay You $100,000, If You Can Hack Into Their Servers

ExpressVPN is among the most renowned virtual private networks (VPN) solutions. Express Technologies Ltd., the company behind ExpressVPN has announced that it is offering customers the chance to earn $100,000 via its bug bounty program.

ExpresVPN recently launched a challenge to hackers who are ethical to compromise their servers’ security. It has promised the possibility of a $100,000 reward (about the equivalent of 74 lakh dollars) to the person who can do this.

VPNs such as ExpressVPN operate by encrypting Internet traffic of the user and routing it over encrypted tunnels. Simply put the VPN service disguises the real IP address of the user using the IP address provided to them by their VPN service.

A bug bounty program is an exercise where companies like ExpressVPN claim that their services are secure. Therefore, While offering ethical hackers the chance to assist them in improving their security.

In an email, ExpressVPN told BleepingComputer that it is as the “highest single bounty offered on the Bugcrowd platform.” Furthermore, it’s 10 times more than the previous top prize provided by ExpressVPN.
