Paul Stirling Leaves Islamabad United for Business End of PSL 2022

Islamabad United right-handed opening batter, Paul Stirling will not be available for the final games in Pakistan Super League 7. As the Irish cricketer will be joining with the Ireland national team for the men’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier in Oman.

According to the information, PSL winners Islamabad United have already hired Liam Dawson as a replacement for Paul Stirling. Dawson is expected to have his options open for the next phase PSL starting on the 10th of February on the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

On Twitter, Paul Stirling appreciated Pakistan and sent his best greetings for Islamabad United. “Great time in Pakistan again. Excellently looked after by @IsbUnited. We wish you the best for the rest of the competition,” the tweeter wrote.

Paul Stirling, along with Alex Hales, provided Islamabad United with solid support at the top of the table. He is currently in the sixth spot in the top ten runners of PSL 7 with a score of the most runs in his five innings with an average 37.

Stirling recorded two fifty six points while batting with a an average. That was 181.55 for his team during the Karachi part of PSL 7. Additionally In the absence of Paul Stirling, his replacement has been approved by the Event Technical Committee. It has already given his replacement the green light and Dawson will be representing Islamabad United in his stead.
